French Historian Accused of Stealing American War Heroes’ Dog Tags to Sell on eBay

Here is a question. What were the dog tags doing at NARA? Would they have been tags that had been collected by German intelligence, and were later retrieved by the US at the end of the war?

Archives all too often dont seem to realise some of their items can be worth hundreds or thousands of dollars. Any news on what happened to this A hole?

I have not heard this story , what a bastard ! i am french and this guy is a disgrace ! in war time he would be put against a wall and get shot ,and the last bullet in the head , we dont need people like that

Glad he was caught and exposed.... people that steal have a mental illness and need to just be put on a remote island somewhere and just steal coconuts from each other.

No, people who steal like this guy are not"sick", they are criminals. He is right where he needs to be.
