Burning Hazard Posted June 10, 2017 Share #1 Posted June 10, 2017 Hi guys, I picked this up today at an antique sale for $20, I believe it's a WW2 Airborne Delivery Lamp or "Equipment Bundle Light". It has amber colored lights and is a bit heavy, I think it may have batteries inside but I don't know how to open it. Batteries are dead so it does not work, still has the original cardboard tab that covers the switch. Would like to know your thoughts/opinions on this one, is it WW2 and are these pretty rare? I don't think I ever even seen one for sale on militaria sites. Thanks Pat

Burning Hazard Posted June 11, 2017 Author Share #4 Posted June 11, 2017 Gotcha, I unscrewed the wrong end at first but tried the other side and got them out; three, dead modern C batteries. I'm going to get some fresh batteries and see if this bad boy turns on, the light bulbs look good and not burned out. Pat
