Aloha Everyone,

(VU, VAP, VFP Recon, RVAH Recon, Lab, Intel, Photographers Mates, etc)

First up, a Japanese made 'Jerry' patch

Fleet Air Photo Lab Atsugi Japan - the largest USN photo lab in Asia. This came from a VU-5 Utility Squadron veteran

Pacific Fleet Mobile Photo Unit. The guy I got this from told me he obtained it from a Korean War Navy veteran. Supposedly there was another related patch with it that never turned up. I checked in on a few times over the course of a couple of years but it never materialized.

VFP-63, Light Photographic Squadron 63, and its' predecessor Composite Photographic Squadron 63. I believe the VCP-63 designation was in used between 1956 and 1959.

A mid 1950's pair from VJ-61. I think Detachment Q was stationed at Sangley Point in the Philippines and later at Atsugi, Japan.

Composite Squadron 62, Detachment 30 circa 1955. The person who I got this from about 20 years ago told me what the top and bottom tabs said in Japanese, but unfortunately over time I have forgotten.
