AirMechanic Posted May 19, 2017 Share #1 Posted May 19, 2017 I believe that this 33rd Armored Regiment unit insignia is theater made and was perhaps made in Germany. Can anyone tell me if this was a German made insignia and when the insignia no longer had the tiger on top (or when mine dates from)? Any help is appreciated! tredhed2 Posted May 21, 2017 Share #4 Posted May 21, 2017 GM 2nd Bn 33rd Armored Regt (cavalry units used squadrons) and is UA, which is why there is a tiger on top other UA examples have 1, 2, or 3 on top, as well as a pickle tank all from the 50s and maybe early 60s
Steve B. Posted September 30, 2020 Share #5 Posted September 30, 2020 Based on personal observation, Pickles and Tigers were used at least until 1978.
