I thought this was a bit of a neat image illustrating the basic evolution of WWII oxygen masks as of November 1943. From L to R, Type A-7, Type A-8, Type A-8B, Type A-10 Revised, Type A-14.

Charlie Flick

That's a cool pic, Dustin. Pretty much everything in WW2 O2 masks from A to Z.

Charlie

The the revised H-2, which requires an adapter for the oxygen mask hose. The image with the individual kneeling is an immediate post war but illustrates the same WWII bottle.

Then there we walk around bottles, Type A-4 (top) and the Type D-2 (Bottom). Again the bottom image is an immediate post war image but same WWII bottle.

I just aquired a A-7 mask ( been looking for one for ages !) But I've never seen a A-8 with the single foam exhalation port .. Have several of the A-8-B's in my collection .. so now I need to go after one of those .. anybody ever see one come up for sale ?
