lakenormanusa Posted May 8, 2017 Share #1 Posted May 8, 2017 I've read previous posts about the Angus & Coote repos and wanted to get some opinions about this wing. The ebay seller (super38's) said they are original. He has great feedback, but I don't have any experience with this type of wing and would appreciate some thoughts. Thanks! Patchcollector Posted May 8, 2017 Share #2 Posted May 8, 2017 The angle of the Wing in these photos prevents a good viewing but from what I can see I don't detect the "tells" present. Also, the seller offers some items that are questionable IMO. To learn more about the "tells",do a search for Angus & Coote Wings on this Forum. There are a few great threads discussing this issue. Here's a link to one discussion: http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=86844&hl=angus,and,coote&st=
pfrost Posted May 8, 2017 Share #3 Posted May 8, 2017 Nope. I think I wouldn't buy a car from a guy named "Honest John" and I'm not sure I'd by a wing from this guy if he is saying they are real. As patchcollector said... none of the characteristic "tells" of a good AC wing.
