awo41 Posted May 7, 2017 Share #1 Posted May 7, 2017 This was brought back by Sgt. Bernie Voltz of the 808th TD Bn. Co. A. It was given to me by his son a few years back. His brother wanted to throw it away. It was taken in a town called Ansfeld, Austria. There's 63 signatures and hometowns and 26 are from my state of Tennessee. USCapturephotos Posted May 7, 2017 Share #3 Posted May 7, 2017 Oh man what a great piece to get directly from the family. I've owned 5 or 6 signed flags. I've kept two that I won't part with. When I see snapshots of gis w captured NSDAP flags I always look closely to see if they are signed. I've only found a few photos where you can actually see the signatures. sundance Posted May 7, 2017 Share #4 Posted May 7, 2017 That is a great flag. It would be nice to see some closer shots of it. There appears to be a small circle toward the bottom of the flag. What is that?
