VMI88 Posted April 30, 2017 Share #1 Posted April 30, 2017 I picked up this Enfield sergeant's tool recently: I know the basics about it but I know there are a lot of variations in these tools. This one doesn't have the modification to the small end of the screwdriver blade to fit the newer Baddely-style bands. Does that mean it's an earlier one? It's also completely unmarked, which could be an indication of being produced by a contractor for private rather than British government sale. If anyone can shed any light on this I'd appreciate it. gunbarrel Posted April 30, 2017 Share #3 Posted April 30, 2017 Very cool, VMI. I have a two-band Enfield "sergeant" rifle dated 1862 that would love to have that.
