USMC-RECON0321 Posted April 30, 2017 Share #1 Posted April 30, 2017 Hello, I seen this WWI Lieutenant's Quartermaster uniform in a local antique shop and I have no idea what the unit patch is. Any ideas? USMC-RECON0321 Posted April 30, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted April 30, 2017 Service of Supply Well that would make sense. Thanks. I looked through my few patch books and didn't see it and was thinking it should be a Division patch? Too Much WW1 Militaria Posted April 30, 2017 Share #4 Posted April 30, 2017 Service of Supply. Looks unmessed with too. A lot of SOS personnnel were in the Quartermaster end of things, which given Service of Supply, makes perfect sense! lol Looks like a nice tunic. Wonder if there is a name? I believe it came with trousers, tunic and a shirt, but I didn't dig for any name as I only had a couple minutes to peak in while passing through to a meeting. I'll email the shop and ask some questions. I believe he had it priced at $200 Troy USMC 2/2 Fox Co 0311 & 1st Recon Bn Delta Co. 0321. 1986 - 1995 (Desert Storm 90/91)US Army Long Range Surveillance Co F 425th INF ABN LRS Team 1-6 2003 - 2005 (Iraqi Freedom 03/04)
tredhed2 Posted April 30, 2017 Share #6 Posted April 30, 2017 Way too much for SOS uniform. Unless it is a size 44 or something like that. Member, ASMIC.Editor, ASMIC's The Trading PostASMIC Executive VP

atb Posted April 30, 2017 Share #9 Posted April 30, 2017 From what I've seen at shows and online, a WW1 officer's coat, trousers and shirt with SSI and other insignia at $200.00 is not too bad these days. Especially if ID'd and in good condition.
Too Much WW1 Militaria Posted April 30, 2017 Share #10 Posted April 30, 2017 I'd say the price is fair retail, the officers shirt actually being the rarest part.
