I thought I would post this one here for reference. Not sure of Exact era, but I would Guess somewhere between Korea and Vietnam.

I'd go with the WW2 to Korea time frame. Mainly due to those applied chevrons (as opposed to fully embroidered).

That is a really great rate.

Can't remember the exact date but I think they stopped wearing this rate in 1948? There were still NAPs in the Navy, but they reverted to other aviation rates. Semper Fi - Jeff

Correct. Aviation Pilot continued as an Exclusive Emergency Service rating in the reserves, but the specialty mark was changed from the wings to the letter "V".

 

That's a great looking green rating badge!
