empireguns Posted April 8, 2017 Share #1 Posted April 8, 2017 In an airborne infantry estate there was a sykes fairbairn with a wooden handle no markings on the knife very light. It was used and carried but what was the situation with the wooden handle, has the brass pommel and correct sheath will get some pictures soon. empireguns Posted April 8, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted April 8, 2017 good stuff, thank you I believe it was a wartime private purchase he was a Lt. or Capt. at the time very light and falls into the idea of weight for his airborne duties.
