Saber617 Posted April 6, 2017 Share #1 Posted April 6, 2017 I acquired this recently and absolutely love it. I really don't collect WW1 items. I mainly collect WW2 german stuff. But I love these painted helmets they are incredibly cool and are very personal. I have seen alot of awesome painted helmets on this site. Great place for info. littlewilly Posted April 8, 2017 Share #7 Posted April 8, 2017 FYI : The uniform patch was the same as on the helmet. The First Army "A" with the regimental number in the top panel and Corps of Engineers castle in the lower panel, typically on an olive drab rectangle background. Examples for the 21st are found with just the "A" and castle as well. MHJ
