Mail for Japanese POW's

I thought this was an interesting little document that adds a little insight about the process.

The one veteran I knew who survived the Bataan horror and was a POW in Japan told me his group never got mail or any Red Cross food during their imprisonment. I believe he told me that his captors did permit some notification to his parents that he was a POW. I can't recall, if I ever knew, in which camp he was confined.
