CIB WW2?

Hello

I have this Sterling marked CIB and wanted to confirm whether it was WW2 period or later.

It has Sterling marked pinch pins with no dimples which is a good sign I guess

Any comments or opinions would be appreciated

Regards

Lee

Yes it is.

I recommend getting 'Combat Infantryman Badge 1943-1976' by Michael Tucker.

Thanks,

Cobra 6 Actual

Yep, what they said! Your clutch markings patent number on the left hand clutch appears to be 2308412. If that is correct, then these were made by Ballou in 1943. This adds up with all of the other indicators that this is a WWII CIB.

Agree, Looks WW2 era with the short pins.Seems like the later ones, the pin near the butt of the stock is placed above it.So the pins are off set.
