SDC Posted March 11, 2017 Share #1 Posted March 11, 2017 Looking for advice from any electrolysis experts ... I've posted this dug barreled-receiver before and electrolysis was suggested as a preservation method. After researching this a bit I'm wondering about the gas cylinder since its stainless steel. This one is firmly in place so it would go into the solution as well. Will this be a problem? Some info I've read indicates it will produce hazardous by-products, plus I don't want to damage the piece. Need expert advice! Thanks
12thengr Posted March 11, 2017 Share #2 Posted March 11, 2017 Look up 'Coleman Collectors Forum' on the net. Quite a few posts about home made electrolysis rigs there. "They'd rather be alive than free; poor dumb bastards."
