Concernedfuturedogface Posted March 6, 2017 Share #1 Posted March 6, 2017 Was wondering if anyone knew to the extent that coveralls with the ERDL pattern were used in vietnam and who used them? I assume they saw a bulk of their use by tankers or pilots, but did SF use them? How common were they? kammo-man Posted March 7, 2017 Share #3 Posted March 7, 2017 I suspect the coveralls you are talking about are hunting brand type. owen
northcoastaero Posted March 8, 2017 Share #4 Posted March 8, 2017 The USAF (Army also?) had a one piece ERDL or similar camouflage flight suit during the Vietnam War. It may have been fire resistant and possibly designated CWU-26/P or CWU-29/P. CWU stands for Clothing Wear Unit. This camouflage flight suit was probably introduced around 1967. Hope this helps.
