Kansas Raider Posted March 2, 2017 Share #1 Posted March 2, 2017 Hi everybody, I am looking for a picture of the nose art for a B24, nose art name Satan's Chariot. This plane was in the 93rd bomb group, 409th bomb squadron. My relation was the co-pilot of this plane when it was lost on 31March1943. Still MIA. Thanks Steve

Kansas Raider Posted March 3, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted March 3, 2017 Thanks DoubleEnvelopment, great site. That is the first picture I have seen of the plane. I was wanting to make a memorial painted flight jacket. Thanks again Steve
northcoastaero Posted March 3, 2017 Share #4 Posted March 3, 2017 Two collector friends of mine suggested to me in the past that if I was considering to have a reproduction WWII USAAF A-2 style jacket painted, that I should have the artist use oil based paints instead of acrylic. There is at least one member on this forum who paints replica WWII patches and can probably refer you to an artist if you need one. fold3.com may have information on the B-24 such as the Missing Aircrew Report (MACR), etc. Also try aviationarchaeology.com . Hope this helps.
