M60 Driver Posted March 2, 2017 Share #1 Posted March 2, 2017 Anyone know about this meritorious service pin? The two figures do echo the State of Maine's seal, but not sure about the three roosters and the front palm of a hand. And the M looks more like a university style font. And, as always, thanks in advance.
Reforger Posted March 2, 2017 Share #2 Posted March 2, 2017 I don't know what it is, but it looks National Guard related.
ocsfollowme Posted March 2, 2017 Share #3 Posted March 2, 2017 Looks like a DI in the center out of a state guard unit activated and they had a welcome home ceremony in 1945 and handed these out.
KurtA Posted March 2, 2017 Share #4 Posted March 2, 2017 The center shield is the Hancock Family Crest. You have a Continental Soldier or Minute Man on the left and possibly a Boy Scout on the Right? None of those clues gave me an internet search hit.
