ScottG Posted February 27, 2017 Share #4 Posted February 27, 2017 There is a surplus store in Wayne, the owner is a bit nutty, but I have pulled some good stuff from there in the past. Corner of Michigan Ave and Wayne Road. If you are travelling 94 stop by the museum in Grass Lake. About 40 min from Plymouth. Scott
northcoastaero Posted February 27, 2017 Share #5 Posted February 27, 2017 There may be a museum located at the Selfridge ANG base. Also, a USN VP-93 Executioners P-3 Orion patrol aircraft is on display somewhere around there. You will have to call to check when the P-3 is open for tours. There may be other USAF aircraft on static display near Selfridge. The Yankee Air Museum Museum and their B-17, B-25, C-47, etc. aircraft are located at the Willow Run Airport. Hope this helps. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selfridge_Air_National_Guard_Base https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willow_Run_Airport#The_airport_today
