RichRaider Posted February 22, 2017 Share #1 Posted February 22, 2017 I just got this one in the mail today. It came with the radio pouch and I just purchased several authentic pouches to complete the set up.

RichRaider Posted February 22, 2017 Author Share #5 Posted February 22, 2017 I already had this one in my collection. I have never seen a photo of it in use during combat or training. Its the exact same vest, but in coyote brown.

Cap Camouflage Pattern I Posted February 22, 2017 Share #7 Posted February 22, 2017 NICE! I didn't know you collect modern stuff!
RichRaider Posted February 22, 2017 Author Share #8 Posted February 22, 2017 NICE! I didn't know you collect modern stuff! I just started about a year ago. Some of this stuff is available locally at the gear shops and army/navy stores in Jacksonville, NC. I would rather collect it now while it's cheep. On the other hand, the HABD bottle on the back of the coyote vest cost almost as much as I paid for both of the vests combined (ebay crushed me on it). -Rich
RichRaider Posted February 28, 2017 Author Share #9 Posted February 28, 2017 Almost done putting the vest together. I picked up most of the pouches at a local gear store about $2 for each.

RichRaider Posted February 28, 2017 Author Share #11 Posted February 28, 2017 I’m just missing the .45 magazine pouches. They are woodland Safriland SFLS pouches. I’ll keep looking, but no luck yet. The pick below shows the pouches.
Proxxy04 Posted May 17, 2022 Share #12 Posted May 17, 2022 This is awesome. I love the modern SOF stuff and while recon technically isn’t SOF I still count it as such. Both of those kits look amazing, but you are right I don’t think the Coyote AAV was used by recon, as FSBE II came out in the early 2000s which was in coyote brown and replaced the FSBE I kits.
