My guess would be late 40's early 50's, European (probably German) made. That is based on the unit's history, the style of tank depicted (looks more modern than a mid 40's style of tank), the translucent enamel over stippled background, and the pointed screw posts (not American-made)

They're nice crests!

I concur with Kurt, definitely German made, late 40's to the 50's.
