P.O.W. Dog Tags

Is there any way to track down a number on a P.O.W tag. I have one and trying to find out who wore it.

I assume you mean a Stalag dog tag? That's pretty much impossible, unless someone happens to have a list for that camp. The Germans may have that information in an archive somewhere, but they surely wouldn't give it to you unless you're related.

What Stalag is it from?

 

Just asking as my Uncle Joe was in Stalag 17B and I would love to find his tag!!
