Jamecharles Posted February 3, 2017 Author #2 Posted February 3, 2017 details of one of the unknow decorations
Bruce Linz Posted February 3, 2017 #3 Posted February 3, 2017 I do not think the badge in question is an award or a decoration. It looks to me like some sort of reunion badge or a badge given to attendees at some event, a fancy name tag if you will. I can't make out what is on the tag, but it sure looks like it could be his name and U.S.A. underneath it. Good luck with your research. Semper Fi, Bruce Linz

Jamecharles Posted August 6, 2017 Author #7 Posted August 6, 2017 the missing medals should be one of those but I was not able to spot anyone except the one in the center that was:Tenth International Congress of Medicine and Pharmacy He was a member of the American Medical Association and the Association of Military Surgeons of the United States of which he was president in 1939 and 1940. He was an Honorary Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He also was an Honorary member of the Academy of Medicine of Washington, the Association of Military Surgeons of Mexico and the Society of German Army Medical Officers. On 8 June 1936 Dickinson College awarded him the degree of Doctor of Science. In addition to his U.S. awards, he was an officer of the French Legion of Honor and a Commander of the French Order of Public Health.
