hirsca Posted January 28, 2017 Share #1 Posted January 28, 2017 Estate sale find. In the past, I have posted other WW2 era ARC items, but all of them had the smaller horizontal label with the city/state woven or stamped on the label. This one has a larger red cross on a white field, but without a city/state desination. Bag material is twill while the drawstrings are of HBT. Could this possibly be an earlier version---or what? Enjoy. Thanks, Al
268th C.A. Posted January 28, 2017 Share #2 Posted January 28, 2017 I have seen many differnt varitaions of ditty bags, I dont think there was ever any standards or set patterns for these. I like it...WW2 I'd say from the patch weave.
