Phfly1010 Posted January 26, 2017 Share #1 Posted January 26, 2017 Want to interview ww2 pilots preferably in central/eastern PA. Any leads would be appreciated ... name, contact info, type of plane flown/branch/unit/plane type. Work as PAO for PA VFW HQs, so experienced with interviewing/writing. May submit interviews for national Veterans History Project. Thanks in advance.
Waltz41 Posted January 28, 2017 Share #2 Posted January 28, 2017 I know it's a far ways out still, but head to Reading WWII weekend.....they have plenty of pilots still that attend the show as special guests. I see quite a few up already. They are also most likely local in the area, most are there every year and traveling at their age is probably tough. Phfly1010 Posted January 28, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted January 28, 2017 Thanks Waltz41. Hope to get there ... here's hoping for no rain and no unseasonably warm temps because that tarmac can be an oven. Love this event ... few like it.
