Large Portrait Photo of WWII AAF Gunner in B3 jacket, flight helmet, & googles

This is typical of the large WWII portrait photos taken during Tech School by GIs to send home. I did one myself similar to this in 1955.

 

It shows a airman wearing a leather B3 jacket with shearling collar, a leather flight helmet, and googles.

 

The white silk scarve was also a typical addition.

 

On the jackets breast he is wearing an aerial gunners wing.
