THANK YOU 3rd Brigade, 1st Infantry Division. The 3rd Brigade was disbanded on 20 April 1960 at Fort Riley, Kansas and on 23 October 1963 reconstituted as Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Infantry Division. After its activation the unit proceeded to The Republic of Vietnam where it saw 6 long years of action earning 13 streamers and citations for its actions.
