Is This An Infantry DUI?

Guys:

 

I am not an insignia guy as my military collecting interests are elsewhere. However, this DUI is affixed to something I am considering buying. I have been all through my limited DUI and insignia references and I am coming up dry. With all of that blue I am guessing that it might be an infantry outfit, but then I am just guessing.

 

Can any member point me in the right direction on this one, please? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

What is the other item that the DUI is affixed to? It may shed some light on a specific branch. I looked through a lot of infantry catalogs but found nothing..

 

Perhaps there is a connection to the item it is attached to..

Hi Leigh:

 

Thanks for your message. The insignia is attached to a 1966 dated Zippo lighter. There is nothing written on the back side or elsewhere on the lighter that might give us a clue.

 

 

The thought just occurred to me that perhaps my assumption that this was an Army insignia is incorrect. Heck, it may be USAF or Navy for all I know.

 

Anyway, I do appreciate all assistance.

I have to admit this one has me totally stumped. I have been trying to ID it since you first posted it and have come up empty. At this point I'm not convinced that it is military but I will keep my eye out for any leads.
