Rear and Inside.

Sorry for the double post.

The helmet was purchased in Northern Virginia in 2007 - not far from Barrack's hometown in Maryland.

A small grouping named to a Corporal in the 2nd BN, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th BCT, 4th Infantry Division.

During their time in Afghanistan, the 2nd Battalion was based in the Pech River Valley, Kunar Province, home to the Korengal, Waygal, Shuriak, and Wata Pour Valleys. During its time in the Pech Valley, the 2nd Battalion saw heavy fighting throughout their Area of Responsibility at the foothills of the Hindu Kush mountains.

Nice helmets everyone! Here is a companion to nkomo's very nice ACH. Another variation, complete as worn with UCP camo and earlier OD patch, 2005-2008 period during Iraq deployments.

Here are my 4th ID helmets. The first is an ACH with a UCP camo cover, same time period as Pump 150's helmet. The second is also an ACH with a later OCP camo cover.

Here's mine from the widow of Lt. Robert Riser. The parachute cover was made by him after he cut this piece from a parachute he found just inland from Utah Beach. This is documented by a letter from the widow.

Lt. Riser landed on D-Day.
