Chindit Posted January 10, 2017 Share #1 Posted January 10, 2017 I have a heavy cotton khaki shirt with shoulder straps that has a label inside that reads "Government Regulation, ARMY CHINO, Sanforized, a Melton product". Does anyone have a guess what time period this is from--private purchase WWII officer's, 1950's, or simply no way to tell? Thanks guys.

Though it will be from these time frames you mentioned. It will be pointed out also, that a shirt like this could of been worn by a enlistedman post 1947, after that date both Os and EMs wear the same shirts, IE, with shoulder loops.
