Another great foto find by member seanmc1114 (posted a few days ago in Patches in Action). This, a 3rd Armd Div Spec 5 in West Germany in 1968. The first time in this topic we're seeing the type on a Non Drill Sergeant.

And this one.

Here one, 1st Army Field Jacket, Spec 4s 1969-70, not only with the "Twill" ranks but a Subdued 'Twill" Combat Patch, Americal Division, forgot where I found this one.

Another sighting of a Subdued Sleeve Rank within the 33rd Infantry Brigade (Sep), a Spec 4 wearing the type, again, unknown if he and the ones mysteriousoozlefinch posted in Post # 10 are Vietnam vets, and kept these types and wore them or just men who got a hold of these subdued ranks.

A cropped and enlarged image from a photo of the 1st Battalion 131st Infantry of the brigade in the protests and riots at the  Democratic National Convention Chicago in August 1968.
