Persian Gulf Command Posted January 5, 2017 Share #1 Posted January 5, 2017 Just received a great operational tactical map! A 1:25,000 GSGS4414 Wesel where the 507th, 17th Airborne, and 194th Gli Inf landed. Even more special is that it is a March 9/10, 1945 printing marked Defenses and Secret. The map shows field use with some seam tears and soiling but is in good shape with great color. I consider this to have some real historical significance. Unfortunately, I do not have a soldiers name attached to it but it came with a good map from the area of the Battle of the Bulge so can at lease speculate what unit the owner may have been part of connecting the two theaters of operation.
