Brian Keith Posted January 4, 2017 #1 Posted January 4, 2017 I posted the full uniform in the uniform section. I thought Id post a close up of the DI. They are slightly different than illustrated in Stantons WW II Order of Battle. They are screw-backs, but unmarked on the back. There is a discussion about these 406th DIs here: http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/226882-406th-ir-two-different-designs/?hl=406th One comment states the unmarked ones are Collector Copies. I got the Ike these are on about 10 years ago at a tractor show. Vendor was from Kansas and he either got it at the estate sale or was selling it for a neighbor who did. I paid about $50 for it. I think this was the only military item he had. Info and Comments welcome. Thanks for looking, BKW
