406th IR DI variation

I posted the full uniform in the uniform section.

I thought Id post a close up of the DI. They are slightly different than illustrated in Stantons WW II Order of Battle. They are screw-backs, but unmarked on the back.

One comment states the unmarked ones are Collector Copies. I got the Ike these are on about 10 years ago at a tractor show. Vendor was from Kansas and he either got it at the estate sale or was selling it for a neighbor who did. I paid about $50 for it. I think this was the only military item he had.
