jpstout Posted January 3, 2017 Share #1 Posted January 3, 2017 A matching M1 helmet-liner, both white painted, 37th ID and Lt. decal application. Shell: #M_30A Manganese rim Rear Seam Liner: CAPAC Early Bare A washers Postwar use, no doubt. I have seen a similar liner. Anybody out there recognize this for use in a particular period? National Guard? Parade? Happy New Year!

2ndInf.Div. Posted January 9, 2017 Share #5 Posted January 9, 2017 The black chinstrap clips on the helmet would date it to the 60's I believe. I know they were painted green during Korea but I don't remember when they were painted/treated black.

Nice M1, thinking it might be Vietnam also? Still a nice lid!
2ndInf.Div. Posted January 12, 2017 Share #7 Posted January 12, 2017 Vietnam era is my guess. My knowledge of the 37th is mostly geared towards WWII, but I believe they were at Camp Grayling, MI in the 60's/70's.
