mmerc20 Posted December 27, 2016 Share #1 Posted December 27, 2016 From what I was reading, WAC service numbers were six digits and was curious if these numbers are searchable like the normal WWII enlistment records. I have a tag with the number 416858 and since WAC numbers starting with "4" are with 4th service command, this would make sense since I'm in North Carolina. How do I determine who this number belonged to? Nothing comes up on the archives.gov website. Thanks Mike
Dorothy Posted December 28, 2016 Share #2 Posted December 28, 2016 This is nice page http://wwii-army.mooseroots.com/d/b/Women%27s-Army-Corps#main but can't enter serial number :/ You don't have any more informations ? And 4 mean Alabama, Florida, Georgia Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee so that's ok. I'm still looking for.
