ludwigh1980 Posted December 16, 2016 Share #1 Posted December 16, 2016 I was digging through my storage unit again and this was waded up in a suitcase with various odd and ends. I remember it being around in my house years ago however I for the life of me can't remember where it came from. Has post WW1 Army aviation officers collar devices. Inside has a diamond tag with M.N. Meyer Squadron 7 Co B. No lower pockets. I remember seeing something on the forum a few years ago. Is this an early flying cadet uniform coat? AAF_Collection Posted December 19, 2016 Share #3 Posted December 19, 2016 it is a Flying Cadet coat, but with the sewn down belt with buckle and the metal rather than bullion collar insignia it dates from the late 30's. I will post more detailed info in due course as this is an area which interests me greatly.
