Bob Hudson Posted December 16, 2016 #1 Posted December 16, 2016 This was presented to a three-star US Air Force general who was commander of 12th Air Force. His duties included liaison with air forces in Central and South America for Southern Command. This gaucho style dagger has the Argentine Air Force wings in gold on the scabbard. The scabbard and grip are "Alpaca Silver" which is the same as "Nickel silver" - no actual silver but an alloy of copper, zinc and nickel.
sundance Posted December 16, 2016 #2 Posted December 16, 2016 Well that's flashy. I'm a sucker for knives so I like it. Any idea how it was worn? I don't see rings or a stud.
