Bob Hudson Posted December 16, 2016 Share #1 Posted December 16, 2016 This came from a Marine Colonel who retired in 1965 and that sort of fits with the date of the badge which I am told was the "Diem" period, the time when Ngo Dinh Diem ruled South Vietnam from 1955-1963, when he was assassinated. This has been in a garage in Coronado for over 50 years and it has some moth nips and holes. The Colonel died over 20 years ago, but this and some other artifacts of his career stayed in his house, which for the last 10 years has not even been occupied by people (just the moths).
