scubaguy Posted December 15, 2016 Share #1 Posted December 15, 2016 I have what I think is a vietnam era jungle hammock, but was told it may be ww2, so im not sure. It has a double layer cotton bottom with nylon screen and a rubber coated canopy. On the bottom it has two straps that are for rifle storage, or so im told. I'm wondering if it is vietnam or ww2 and how much it might be worth. It is in very good condition and named, with some repairs. not able to post pics, it keeps saying they are to big
El Bibliotecario Posted December 16, 2016 Share #2 Posted December 16, 2016 Obviously without photos one is guessing. Having said that, the description, other than the rifle straps, sounds like the USGI WW2 jungle hammock I purchased in new condition at the surplus store as a kid. scubaguy Posted December 16, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted December 16, 2016 The label on it says hammock jungle complete and give s instructions on setup but other than the US marking on the inside head end there sent any other markings or labels

'Flage Guy Posted December 28, 2016 Share #5 Posted December 28, 2016 There should be a dated spec tag in the small pocket inside the Hammock.
