A Vietnam Veteran's Jackets

I picked up these two awesome jackets at the local thrift store last night.

I located the Veteran whose these had been - I wanted to make sure that these weren't accidentally given up and to see if he wanted to have these returned. He told me that he had parted with these because he had lost 150 pounds!

Doctor Torres is the recipient of the Silver Star, three Bronze Stars and the Purple Heart for his service in Vietnam between 1970 and 1972.

Here's the second jacket.

Both of these jackets were extremely well made. The embroidery is impressive, as everything you see on these coats (with the exception of the MACV-SOG patch) is embroidered directly into each jacket.
