I had the privilege to meet and interview WWII 36th ID Combat Medic and German POW William Howland a couple years ago. We have become very good friends since and the other day, I took him to the local Marine Recruiting Center where he was allowed to share his story and was treated like a king by the Marines (I'll post pictures of that event in a second post.

 

Here is a brief video I put together from his interview - there was much more, but this is what I have put into video so far.
