DMD Posted December 9, 2016 Share #1 Posted December 9, 2016 I acquired this nice pair of dolphins a while back, and I want to discuss the flaw around the STERLING mark. I have seen photos of a similar flaws on Gemsco dolphins. Is the flaw any indication of era of manufacture? Could this badge be made from a WWII die but struck years later, say Vietnam era? I think I read something about Jimmy Carter having deep wave dolphins when he was a naval officer. Any comments from the forum? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
