Hello all,

I recently went to an estate sale, in one of the rooms was a large amount of fabric, dating from the early 1900's to the 1960's. In one of the boxes, I found this piece of woodland camouflage fabric. The pattern is very nice, the problem is the fabric is very thin, almost like a summer dress shirt thin. Anyone have any input? Thanks in advance.

Could rightly be, it is entirely too thin to make any uniform, unless you wanted a snazzy camouflage dress shirt! The piece that I have is a yard wide, and 4 yards long!

The estate that it was purchased from was from a WWII Army Air Force Officer, so that is why I immediately thought military.

That is strange, because it's printed in the "reversed" color scheme that the Marine Corps Ponchoes are printed in. Maybe it's a piece of the fabric that was used to vulcanize to the waterproof material to manufacture the Poncho?
