Stromberg NA-R7 carburetor for Wright R-760 engine on Navy N3N. Overhaul sticker has date hand painted. N3N's were used for flight orientation at the Naval Academy until 1960. A retired officer who flew in them said that most of the instructor pilots wanted to fly jets and were not thrilled with being assigned to instruct midshipmen in biplanes on floats.
