ocsfollowme Posted October 28, 2016 Share #1 Posted October 28, 2016 I thought about making a thread dedicated to Parachute Club patches. Here is a late 1950s to early 1960s US Army Benning Parachute Club patch. This is not in the Kellers latest book on pages 347-349.

ocsfollowme Posted October 28, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted October 28, 2016 From USMF member "sfcollector" Two examples of the patches used by the Fort Campbell Parachute Club. One earlier example (on the right) probably dating to the 1960's-1970's, the second (on the left) probably dating from the 1980's-1990's. sfcollector Posted October 29, 2016 Share #9 Posted October 29, 2016 Thank you ocsfollowme for starting this thread. Army Sport Parachute Club insignia is one of my side line interests. They tend to be hard to come across and a challenging pursuit. That First Annual Far East Sport Parachute Meet patch is a beaty Irish - one I've never seen before. I'll contribute to this thread with a few in my collection. A selection below of the 82d Airborne's Sport Parachute Club and Parachute Team insignia. The 82d Airborne's Parachute Team is an exhibition, public affairs team is comprised of the top 12 skydivers selected from the 82d's Sport Parachute Club. Many team members later qualify for the Army's Golden Knights.
