Hey guys

Looking for the following, ALL COLOR, in FADED used condition:

US ARMY Gold/Black tape

PARA Qualification Wings (These needs to be apx 1.5"x 2" folded)

CIB

Anybody help. I picked up a decent condition SF 1st pattern JJ. You can plainly see all the patch ghosts and Id like to restore it. Need the above.

Thanks

Will any of these work?

Picked this up at the SOS from a member here on the Forum. I have done a bit of research and come up with the following:

SFC Walter D. Richey, Combat Medic ( Bac Si )

SSG Richey, Det. A-234 Phey Srunh & An Lac 10/8/1966 to 5/1/1967 MEDIC

SGT? Richey, 27 MSF 231st Co, 6/1/1967- 6/1/1968 Platoon Leader

SFC Richey, Qui Nhon 43 MSF Co from 271 Co. 1/1/1968 - 1/1/1969 Platoon Leader 271st MSF Co.

Also I have been fortunate enough to have an in country photo of him.

3d beret has been added for pics. This beret is NOT his.

Also just want to thank Bob Chatt & Jason Hardy for putting up with all my Newb questions. I bugged them pretty much all day.

It was great to meet the two of you.

One always hopes to go to a show, especially the SOS, and bring home at LEAST one item that you are stoked to have. The above jacket is mine for the show. I went looking for a nice 1st pattern exposed button. There were several of them there, but this being a 3rd? pattern, poplin, hidden buttons, no shoulder nor waist tabs, fills a hole in the progression of JJs for me. I've had this less that 24 hours and already have a pic of him and great info as well. This will be a hard one to surpass as a favorite in my collection.

As a second piece, I picked this up at the show, I had a buddy bring this in for me, out of his collection. He's had this since the early 70s. I've wanted one good set of Beo Gams, and this is the pattern I wanted. Now to find either a nice cowboy hat or billed cap that matches this pattern. I believe this is called the Leopard pattern. Came with trousers as well. Thanks Cary.

I've had a few of these but picked up a Gemsco, N.Y. with top and bottom posts and a Dueling Skull. Thought it was time to get them cased and displayed. The large beercan style DI is probably off of a presentation plaque as there are no pins. I now have Dueling Skull, Gemsco, N.Y., Lg & Sm D22, 622 USA, Sm D22 with out paint in handle (variant?). Still looking for screw back posts and at least one beercan style. Any others I should be looking for?

Thanks SOG. I feel very fortunate to be its keeper. I didnt see it until around noon on Friday. That neans that it was available for sale from Wednesday set up until then. I know several guys looked at it too. I understand that it might have had a higher price on it until Friday morning? At least thats what I was told.

Either way I am very p;eased to showcase this as one of my best.
