A Pair of Rusty WW1 Helmets

Hello all -

 

I saw these at the monthly flea market and really liked them. Vendor agve them to me for a decent price.

 

Each has a tiny hole drilled in the back rim, and there had been thin wire looped through from where these were likely hung on a wall for display. Truth is, I may do the same thing.

 

I've never been one to worry about helmet condition, rather I'm generally pleased to have a small piece of history to hold in my hands.

 

 

I'm assuming that the U.S. helmet is First World War.
