firefighter Posted October 1, 2016 Share #5 Posted October 1, 2016 Great looking patches. I always loved the A-10.
Randy Posted October 2, 2016 Share #6 Posted October 2, 2016 The top one is 75 FS, from a 2009 OP. Enduring Freedom deployment. Never saw the other one before, but it doesn't look like something they did. Of course, anything is possible. Randy

Patchcollector Posted October 2, 2016 Author Share #8 Posted October 2, 2016 The Kurdish Confederate Air Force patch belongs to the 77th Weapons Squadron. Mark IIRC when I received it,this patch had a piece of tape on the back with the "8th Weapons Squadron" written on it.It did'nt make much sense to me because as far as I could tell, the Weapons Squadrons are stateside training units, and this patch looks to me to be something that a deployed unit would wear.So I figured as it had come with the 75th piece in post # 1,that it was just mis-ID'd by the seller and was also a 75th patch. Mark1 Posted October 2, 2016 Share #9 Posted October 2, 2016 The Kurdish Confederate Air force Patch was made for crews and B-1B aircraft form the 77 Weapons Squadron "on loan" to deployable units.
