VenitHora Posted September 30, 2016 Share #1 Posted September 30, 2016 Hello, I picked these up cheap recently and was wondering if they are original or not. Nothing fancy, but the aircrew wings hallmark seems rather sloppy. Can anyone tell me whether they are WWII, Post war or restrikes? I did weigh the pilot ones against a real pair of pin back WWII sterling pilot wings and they weigh the same amount if that means anything. Thanks in advance. Kropotkin Posted September 30, 2016 Share #4 Posted September 30, 2016 The aircrew wing looks good to me. AE Co. were renowned for their sloppiness. Definitely of WW2 vintage, I'd say. I think the pilot wing, a standard graduation wing, is also WW2 vintage or at least immediate post-war.
