Help on M422A

I am new on this forum. I have an opportunity to buy a WWII M422A flight jacket in near mint condition. I do not know a lot about WWII jackets and would greatly appreciate any feedback regarding the leather name tag. The name tag looks smaller on this jacket than other M422A jackets I have seen. I have posted pictures below. I would like to determine if the name tag on this jacket, which is approximately 4" was issued during WWII or is post war.
